of <h1>Government Exempts Combed Wool from Excess Customs Duty Over 60% Ad Valorem Starting February 28, 1986</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 57/86-Cus, dated February 17, 1986, under the Customs Act, 1962, to exempt combed wool (excluding wool tops) classified under sub-headings 5105.21 and 5105.29 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from a portion of customs duty. The exemption applies to the duty amount exceeding 60% ad valorem. This notification is set to take effect on February 28, 1986.
