of <h1>India exempts certain nickel alloys from customs duty over 60% under Customs Act Section 25(1), effective Feb 28, 1986.</h1> Notification No. 63/86-Cus., dated February 17, 1986, issued by the Central Government under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, exempts certain nickel alloys, excluding electric resistance wires of nickel-chrome and other nickel alloys under heading No. 7505.22 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. These goods, when imported into India, are exempted from customs duty in excess of 60% ad valorem. The notification is effective from February 28, 1986.
