of <h1>Worked Unhardened Gelatin Exempt from Customs Duty Over 60% per Notification 71/86-Cus, Effective February 28, 1986.</h1> Notification No. 71/86-Cus, dated February 17, 1986, issued by the Central Government under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, exempts worked unhardened gelatin and articles thereof, classified under sub-heading No. 9602.00 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from customs duty exceeding 60% ad valorem when imported into India. This exemption is deemed necessary in the public interest and becomes effective on February 28, 1986.
