of <h1>Exemption on Organic Surface Active Agents from Customs Duty Exceeding 70% Ad Valorem per Notification No. 81/86-Cus</h1> Notification No. 81/86-Cus, dated February 17, 1986, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, exempts organic surface active agents and preparations (excluding sodium petroleum sulfonate) classified under heading No. 34.02 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from a portion of customs duty. The exemption applies to the amount exceeding 70% ad valorem when these items are imported into India. This notification is effective from February 28, 1986.
