of <h1>Government Exempts Certain Rubber Products from Partial Customs Duties Under Notification No. 82/86-Cus Effective February 28, 1986</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 82/86-Cus dated February 17, 1986, to exempt certain rubber products from a portion of customs duties. This exemption applies to raw rubber, natural or synthetic rubber latex, and similar natural gums, excluding styrene butadiene rubber, under heading Nos. 40.03 and 40.04 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The exemption reduces the customs duty to 40% ad valorem and takes effect on February 28, 1986.
