of <h1>Raw Cashewnuts & Bedana Pomegranates Exempted from Customs Duty per Notification 121/86-Cus, Effective February 28, 1986.</h1> Notification No. 121/86-Cus, dated February 17, 1986, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, exempts raw cashewnuts and the Bedana Variety of Pomegranates from the entire customs duty specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, when imported into India. This exemption is deemed necessary in the public interest and applies to items classified under Chapter 8 of the schedule. The notification will be effective from February 28, 1986.
