of <h1>New Customs Duty Exemptions: Kernite, Colemanite, Crude Calcium Borate, and Sulphur Get Significant Duty Relief Under Chapter 25</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued an exemption notification for certain goods under Chapter 25 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. Effective from February 28, 1986, the notification exempts kernite, its concentrates, colemanite, and crude calcium borate from customs duty above 40% ad valorem. Additionally, all kinds of sulphur, excluding insoluble sulphur, are exempted from customs duty entirely.
