of <h1>India Updates Tariff Values for Oils and Brass Scrap Under Customs Act, 1962; Effective May 14, 2003</h1> The Government of India has issued an amendment to the tariff values for certain goods under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment modifies the previous notification No. 36/2001-Cus. (NT) and sets new tariff values for specific products. The updated tariff values per metric tonne are as follows: Crude Palm Oil at $390, RBD Palm Oil at $426, RBD Palmolein at $434, Crude Palmolein at $415, Brass Scrap (all grades) at $1042, and Crude Soyabean Oil at $537. This amendment is enacted by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and is effective from May 14, 2003.
