of <h1>Customs Act Amendment: Exemption for Low Density Polyethylene Moulding Raised from 60% to 80% Under Section 25(1)</h1> The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 235-Customs from July 29, 1985. The amendment pertains to Low Density Polyethylene Moulding under Chapter 39, increasing the exemption percentage from 'sixty per cent' to 'eighty per cent.' This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 169/86-Cus, dated March 1, 1986.
