of <h1>Government Amends Custom Duty Exemptions for Electronics Industry; Serial No. 8 and Specific Entry Removed</h1> Notification No. 175/86-Cus, dated March 1, 1986, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, amends a previous notification (No. 231-Customs, dated August 18, 1983) concerning goods imported for the electronics industry. The amendments involve the omission of Serial No. 8 and its related entries from the annexed table, as well as the removal of entry (ii) in column (3) against Serial No. 63. These changes are made in the public interest as deemed necessary by the government.
