Customs Exemption Expanded: Now Covers All Goods in Chapter 39 Under Amended Notification No. 150/86-Customs
The Central Government, under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has amended Notification No. 150/86-Customs dated March 1, 1986. This amendment changes the description of goods eligible for customs exemptions. Instead of specifying goods under Heading Nos. 39.01 to 39.14, the exemption now applies to all goods falling within Chapter 39. This change is enacted in the public interest and is documented in Notification No. 203/86-Cus, dated March 5, 1986.
