of <h1>Govt Clarifies Duty Rate for Sodium Hydroxide in Aqueous Solutions under Customs Notification No. 206/86-Cus</h1> Notification No. 206/86-Cus, dated March 7, 1986, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, amends the earlier notification No. 136/86-Customs from February 17, 1986. The amendment pertains to the effective rates of duty for goods under specified chapters. Specifically, for Sl. No. 13A in the notification's table, the duty rate of 'Rs. 3500/- per tonne' is clarified to apply to the weight of Sodium hydroxide, excluding the weight of the aqueous medium, in its aqueous solution form.
