of <h1>Customs Commissioner from Kandla assigned to adjudicate Adani Exports Show Cause Notices under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Excise and Customs has appointed the Commissioner of Customs, Kandla, to act as the Commissioner of Customs in Chennai or the Commissioner of Customs (Imports) in Mumbai. This appointment is for adjudicating matters related to Show Cause Notices issued to Adani Exports Limited by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence. These notices, dated August 9 and 27, 2002, were issued by the Additional Director General from New Delhi and Mumbai. The notification is issued under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, and is signed by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
