<h1>Customs Duty Exemption on Grape Guard for Grape Packing Valid Until March 31, 1987, Under Notification No. 234/86-Cus</h1> Notification No. 234/86-Cus, dated April 3, 1986, issued under the Customs Act, 1962, exempts grape guard, classified under Chapter 48 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from all customs duties when imported into India for grape packing. Grape guard is defined as treated white paper with sodium metasulphate pouches, used to prevent fungal decay in grapes. This exemption is valid until March 31, 1987.
