of <h1>Government Appoints Additional Secretary as Designated Authority for Customs Tariff Duties Under Rule 3, 1985.</h1> The Central Government has appointed the Additional Secretary to the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce as the designated authority under the Customs Tariff (Additional Duty on Dumped Articles) Rules, 1985. This appointment is made in accordance with sub-rule (1) of rule 3 of the said rules, which pertain to the identification, assessment, and collection of additional duties on bounty-fed articles and the determination of injury. This notification is issued under Notification No. 239/86-Cus, dated April 8, 1986.
