of <h1>Amendments to Customs Notification Clarify Import Conditions for Duty-Free Leather and Duty-Paid Steel Products</h1> The corrigendum to Notification No. 26/2003-Customs (N.T.) dated April 1, 2003, issued by the Central Government, introduces specific amendments. In Chapter 42, for various serial numbers, the phrase 'imported under Notification No. 21/2002-Cus dated 1st March, 2002' is added after 'duty free finished leather.' Similarly, in Chapter 73, for certain serial numbers, the phrase 'out of duty paid imported steel' is added after 'manufactured.' These changes are intended to clarify the conditions under which certain items are imported or manufactured.
