of <h1>India's Notification No. 313/86-Cus: Reduced Customs Duties on Select Imports Including Machinery, Diamonds, and More</h1> The Central Government of India issued Notification No. 313/86-Cus on May 13, 1986, under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Finance Act, 1986. This notification provides a partial exemption from auxiliary customs duties on specific imported goods, reducing the duty to 25% of the value of the goods. The specified goods include lead concentrates, linear alkyl-benzene, various polyester and viscose yarns, industrial diamonds, iron or steel scrap, certain machinery and engines, locomotives, tractors, dredging vessels, cinematographic equipment, and more, as detailed in the annexed table. This exemption supersedes a previous notification from March 1, 1986.
