Customs amendment removes a specific table entry altering effective duty coverage for listed commodity chapters. The Central Government, exercising powers under subsection (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, amends Notification No. 136/86 Customs by omitting Sl. No. 35 and the entries relating thereto from the Table governing effective rates of duty for goods falling under Chapters 25, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38 and 39.
