of <h1>New Exemption Entry Added to Customs Notification 312/86-Customs Under Serial No. 289 by Central Government</h1> The Central Government, exercising its powers under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Finance Act, 1986, has issued an amendment to a previous notification from May 13, 1986. This amendment, dated January 27, 1987, introduces a new entry, Serial No. 289, into the existing schedule of exemptions under Notification No. 312/86-Customs. This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 29/87-Cus.
