of <h1>Government Amends Customs Notification: Sl. No. 13 Removed, New Entry Sl. No. 290 Added Under Notification No. 134/87</h1> The Central Government, exercising its powers under the Customs Act, 1962, and the Finance Bill, 1987, has issued amendments to the previous notification No. 113/87-Customs dated 1st March 1987. The amendments involve the omission of Sl. No. 13 and its associated entry from the schedule, and the insertion of a new entry, Sl. No. 290, under Notification No. 134/87-Customs dated 19th March 1987. This action is deemed to be in the public interest and is enforced under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931.
