of <h1>India Exempts Coffee Exports from Customs Duty Exceeding Rs. 330 Per Quintal Under Notification No. 135/87-Cus</h1> The Central Government of India, under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 135/87-Cus dated March 23, 1987, which supersedes a previous notification from January 16, 1987. This notification exempts coffee, classified under heading No. 1 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from customs duty exceeding Rs. 330 per quintal when exported from India. This exemption is enacted in the interest of the public.
