of <h1>Government Extends Customs Notification Deadline from March 31, 1987, to March 31, 1988, for Public Interest</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 294/85-Customs, originally dated September 16, 1985, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment extends the deadline mentioned in paragraph 2 of the original notification from '31st March, 1987' to '31st March, 1988.' This change is enacted in the public interest, exercising the authority granted by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act. The amendment is formalized under Notification No. 146/87-Cus, dated March 27, 1987.
