of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Act Notifications to Change Effective Date from April to July 1987</h1> The Central Government has issued amendments to three previous notifications under the Customs Act, 1962, namely Notification Nos. 268/84, 74/85, and 75/85. These amendments involve changing the effective date mentioned in each notification from '1st day of April, 1987' to '1st day of July, 1987.' This change is made in the public interest, as per the powers granted under section 25 of the Customs Act. The amendments are officially documented in Notification No. 151/87-Cus, dated March 31, 1987.
