of <h1>Narcotics Control Bureau Officers Appointed as Customs Officers Under Amended Notification No. 234/87-Cus, Effective June 5, 1987.</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under the Customs Act, 1962, has amended a previous notification from February 1, 1963. This amendment, effective from June 5, 1987, includes the addition of a new clause. The new clause specifies that all officers of the Narcotics Control Bureau are appointed as officers of Customs. This change is formalized under Notification No. 234/87-Cus.
