of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Tariff Schedule; Adds New Exemption Entries Under Customs Act and Finance Act.</h1> The Central Government, exercising its authority under the Customs Act, 1962 and the Finance Act, 1987, has issued an amendment to a previous notification (No. 207/87-Customs) dated May 12, 1987. This amendment, effective from September 2, 1987, introduces new entries in the schedule of exemptions under the customs tariff. Specifically, Serial Nos. 299 and 300, corresponding to Notification Nos. 303/87-Customs and 304/87-Customs, both dated September 2, 1987, have been added to the list. This action is deemed necessary in the public interest.
