of <h1>India Exempts UNICEF-Supplied Goods for DTP Vaccine Production from Customs Duties under Customs Tariff Act, 1975</h1> The Central Government of India has issued a notification exempting specified imported goods from customs duties when used for manufacturing DTP vaccines. These goods, supplied by UNICEF, include various chemicals, compounds, and materials such as NZ Case, Merthiolate Powder, Activated Charcoal, Yeast Extract, and various filter pads and syringes. The exemption applies to both the customs duty and additional duties under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, provided the importer submits an undertaking that these goods will exclusively be used for DTP vaccine production.
