<h1>Customs Notifications Amended: Deputy Secretary Requirement Removed from Condition (ii) in Nos. 6/84-Cus. & 210/84-Cus.</h1> Amendments have been made to Notification Nos. 6/84-Cus. and 210/84-Cus. by Notification No. 319/87-Cus., dated September 17, 1987, under the Customs Act, 1962. The Central Government, acting in the public interest, has directed modifications to these notifications. Specifically, in both notifications, the requirement for an officer not below the rank of a Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) has been removed from condition (ii).
