of <h1>Government Extends Duty Relief for Automobile Industry to March 31, 1988, Amending Customs Notification No. 522/86</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 522/86-Customs, initially issued on December 31, 1986, to support the domestic automobile industry. The amendment, made under the powers granted by Section 66 of the Customs Act, 1962, extends the deadline mentioned in paragraph 2 of the original notification. The date '30th day of September, 1987' is replaced with '31st day of March, 1988.' This change is formalized through Notification No. 326/87-Customs, dated September 28, 1987.
