The exemption applies to goods listed in the notification, provided the importer commits to using them solely for manufacturing purposes, maintains detailed records, and submits certified evidence of receipt within three months of importation. Failure to comply may result in the importer paying the difference in duty. This exemption does not affect other existing exemptions under Indian law.
