The amendment modifies the duty of customs specified in the First Schedule, setting it at a rate of 30 percent ad valorem. Additionally, in the notification's table, an insertion is made for S. No. 2 to include 'electronic tuner' after 'not exceeding 20 watts rating.' For S. No. 22, the phrase 'along with associated catalysts' is added. These changes are made in the public interest, effective from March 1, 1988.
