of <h1>Customs Exemption Extended for Automobile Industry: Notification No. 522/86-Cus Valid Until March 31, 1989, Under Section 66</h1> The Central Government, under section 66 of the Customs Act, 1962, has extended the validity of Notification No. 522/86-Cus. [Ch. 72] concerning miscellaneous exemption notifications related to customs tariffs. Originally set to expire on the 31st of March, 1988, the validity has now been extended to the 31st of March, 1989. This amendment aims to support the development of the domestic automobile industry by maintaining certain customs exemptions for an additional year.
