of <h1>Customs Notification 71/87-Cus Validity Extended to March 31, 1989, Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has extended the validity of Notification No. 71/87-Cus, originally dated March 1, 1987, by amending it through Notification No. 115/88-Cus, dated March 29, 1988. The amendment, made under the powers conferred by section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, changes the expiration date in paragraph 2 from March 31, 1988, to March 31, 1989. This extension is deemed necessary in the public interest.
