of <h1>Central Government Extends Validity of Customs Notification No. 251/86 to April 30, 1989, Under Section 25(1)</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 251/86-Customs, initially issued on April 16, 1986, by extending its validity. The amendment, made under the authority of Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, changes the expiry date in paragraph 2 from April 30, 1988, to April 30, 1989. This extension is deemed necessary in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 142/88-Customs, dated April 22, 1988, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
