of <h1>Customs Duty Rates Amended: 224/81-Cus. Now 5% Ad Valorem, 136/86-Cus. Sl. No. 62A Adjusted to 45% Ad Valorem.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification Nos. 224/81-Cus. and 136/86-Cus. under the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest. In Notification No. 224/81-Cus., dated October 1, 1981, the duty rate is revised from '10 per cent ad valorem' to '5 per cent ad valorem.' In Notification No. 136/86-Cus., dated February 17, 1986, the duty rate for Sl. No. 62A in the annexed table is changed to '45 per cent ad valorem.' These amendments are issued through Notification No. 152/88-Cus., dated May 2, 1988.
