Exemption to coking coal extended by substituting the notification expiry date under customs powers. The Central Government, invoking sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, amended paragraph 2 of Notification No. 277/87 Customs to substitute the previously specified expiry date with a later date, thereby extending the customs exemption in respect of coking coal.
