of <h1>Validity of Notification No. 161/84-Cus Extended to September 30, 1988, Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act.</h1> The Central Government has extended the validity of Notification No. 161/84-Cus, originally issued on April 21, 1984, by amending it through Notification No. 204/88-Cus, dated June 28, 1988. This amendment, made under the authority of Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, changes the expiration date in paragraph 2 from June 30, 1988, to September 30, 1988. The extension is deemed necessary in the public interest.
