of <h1>Customs Duty Exemption on Photo Polymer Plates for Printing Industry Until March 31, 1990, Under Chapter 37</h1> The Central Government, under the Customs Act, 1962, has granted a partial exemption for photo polymer (relief image) plates used in the printing industry. These plates, classified under Chapter 37 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, are exempt from customs duty exceeding 35% ad valorem when imported into India. This exemption is valid until March 31, 1990.
