of <h1>Customs Duty Exemption for Black Pepper Exported from India Under Section 25(1) of Customs Act, 1962</h1> The Central Government, exercising its powers under Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, has issued Notification No. 256/88-Cus dated 20-9-1988. This notification exempts Black Pepper, classified under Heading No. 2 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, from the entire customs duty when exported from India. This exemption is deemed necessary in the public interest.
