The amendment specifies that the exemption outlined in the original notification will not apply to hoops and strips listed at Sl. No. 6 of the notification's table if they are coated in any form, including galvanized, painted, zinc alloy, aluminum alloy, color, plastic, or lacquer coatings. This amendment is made in the public interest as per the powers conferred by the Customs Act.
