of <h1>Customs Notification Amendment Extends Exemption Date from December 31, 1988, to March 31, 1989, under Section 25(1).</h1> Notification No. 324/88-Cus, dated December 27, 1988, issued by the Central Government under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, amends a previous notification (No. 234/86-Customs) from April 3, 1986. The amendment extends the date mentioned in paragraph 2 of the original notification from December 31, 1988, to March 31, 1989. This change is made in the public interest, allowing the specified customs exemption to continue until the new date.
