of <h1>Rubber Glove Machine Import Duty Increased from 25% to 35% Under Customs Act Section 25(1).</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 18/89-Cus. concerning rubber glove making machines, initially issued on February 2, 1989. Under the authority of section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, this amendment replaces the duty rate of '25% ad valorem' with '35% ad valorem.' This change is deemed necessary in the public interest and is formalized through Notification No. 99/89-Cus., dated March 1, 1989, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
