of <h1>Government Extends Customs Notification No. 111/84 Validity to March 31, 1990, Citing Public Interest Under Section 25(1) Customs Act.</h1> The Central Government has extended the validity of Notification No. 111/84-Customs, originally dated April 21, 1984, by amending it through Notification No. 136/89-Customs, dated March 31, 1989. This amendment, made under the authority of Section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, changes the expiration date in paragraph 2 from March 31, 1989, to March 31, 1990. The extension is deemed necessary in the public interest by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
