Amendment to customs notification inserts a new schedule entry adding Notification No.138 to existing customs exemptions. The central government amended Notification No.106/89-Cus. by inserting, after Sl. No. 265, a new Sl. No. 266 in the Schedule referencing Notification No.138-Customs, exercising powers under the Customs Act and the Finance Bill as given force by the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act and citing public interest.
