of <h1>Customs Act 1962 Amended: Courier Services Now Included in Notification for Exemptions Alongside Aircraft. Effective August 1, 1989.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 33/86-Customs, dated February 7, 1986, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment, effective from August 1, 1989, adds the words 'or by courier service' after the word 'Aircraft' in the original notification. This change is made in the public interest, allowing for the inclusion of courier services alongside aircraft in the specified customs exemptions.
