of <h1>Central Government Extends Validity of Customs Notification No. 169/88 to September 30, 1990, under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 169/88-Customs, originally dated May 13, 1988, under the Customs Act, 1962. This amendment extends the validity of the original notification from September 30, 1989, to September 30, 1990. This change has been made in the public interest by exercising the powers granted under the relevant section of the Customs Act. The amendment is formalized through Notification No. 240/89-Customs, dated September 26, 1989.
