This amendment changes the effective date from October 25, 2002, to November 1, 2002, regarding the jurisdiction of Chief Commissioners, Commissioners, Commissioners (Appeals), and DRI officials appointed as Customs officers. The amendment was formalized through Notification No. 64/2002-Customs (N.T.) and was issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
