Amendment of customs exemption notification removes a specified table entry under delegated power conferred by the Customs Act. The Central Government, exercising powers under sub section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, amends Notification No. 114/80 Customs by omitting Sl. No. 2 and the entry relating thereto from the Table annexed to that notification, the amendment being taken in the public interest.
