of <h1>Customs Tariff Notification for SEZ Amended; Effective Date Moved to October 15, 2003, under Customs Tariff Act, 1975.</h1> The effective date of a customs tariff notification related to Special Economic Zones (SEZ) has been changed from August 15, 2003, to October 15, 2003. This amendment is made under the powers granted by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. The original notification, No. 114/2003-CUSTOMS, was issued by the Ministry of Finance on July 22, 2003, and published in the Gazette of India. This change is officially documented in Notification No. 130/2003, dated August 14, 2003, by the Central Government, as communicated by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
