of <h1>Central Government Amends Customs Notification to Allow 100% Export Units to Import Office Equipment for Export Production</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 13/81-Cus. dated February 9, 1981, under the Customs Act, 1962, to update the import provisions for export production. The amendment replaces the entry for serial No. 10 in the notification's table, allowing 100 percent export-oriented units to import office equipment under the relevant Open General Licence, as permitted by the Board of Approval, in accordance with the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1947. This change is made in the public interest to facilitate the import of specified goods necessary for producing export goods.
