of <h1>Government Amends 1990 Customs Notification, Adds New Entry Under Customs Act Section 25 for Public Interest</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 180/90-Customs, dated May 31, 1990, by inserting a new entry, S. No. 281, in the schedule. This amendment is made under the authority of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, and section 64 of the Finance Act, 1990, to serve the public interest. The new entry references Notification No. 277-Customs, dated December 12, 1990.
